1. Local Feeds to Reduce Feeding Costs

 
 
Feed Ingredient How to Use Benefit
Maize germ Mix with other feeds Cheap energy source
Wheat bran Up to 20-30% of ration Good fiber, affordable
Sunflower seed cake After oil extraction Protein source

Week 16 Lasota Newcastle (final) Drinking water

"Vaccinate at: Day 1, Day 14, Day 28, then Week 8, then Week 16."

Most Critical Vaccines (Minimum Required)

  1. Newcastle (Lasota) - Do this religiously

  2. Gumboro (IBD) - Very important for young chicks

  3. Fowl Pox - Essential in wet seasons
